Insurance Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Professional to join our Business Development Team at Wallace Welch & Willingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and researching potential clients, developing and implementing sales strategies, and meeting new business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve sales targets and grow our client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking and lead generation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to engage prospective clients and drive business growth.
- Meet activity goals, such as making outbound calls and scheduling new business appointments.
- Use a results-oriented mindset to meet new business goals and consistently develop and refine your insurance and sales skills.
- Assist with and learn quoting and account rounding, as well as conducting needs assessments to understand the specific insurance requirements of potential clients.
- Participate in team sales efforts with other producers and create and maintain client accounts through our client/account management system.
- Educate clients on available insurance products and services, emphasizing our values and implementing policy change requests and endorsements.
- Maintenance and establish client setup on risk management software and perform other sales-related client service administrative tasks with increasing complexity.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships consistent with our corporate culture and attend and participate in various online and in-person seminars to increase knowledge of technical and soft skills.
- Florida 4-40 or 2-20 License within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Strong desire to learn and grow as an insurance professional.
- Minimum of 6 months of prior employment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel required.
- Clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
