About the Role

Leidos is seeking a skilled Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement event plans that align with customer requirements and Leidos' goals.
  • Coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on event progress and outcomes.
  • Travel to support offsite events and conduct site visits as needed.
  • Work closely with the planning team to determine event needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Assist with setting up and starting virtual meetings using applications such as Teams and Zoom.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 1+ years of prior customer service experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field and experience with event planning is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
