Colocation Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Colocation Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Data Center Supply Solutions team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing supply solution strategies to expand our Data Center portfolio and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct colocation development transactions from beginning to end, including complex site selection, financial analysis, contract negotiations, zoning and entitlements, and site development.
- Formulate and present long-term development strategies for specific markets to senior management.
- Execute on the strategic plan while interacting with internal stakeholders, including product teams, energy, fiber, design, construction, legal, tax, and other teams.
- Understand the technical requirements of our design engineering teams and develop solutions that meet the design and business objectives.
- Involve in the full construction process to deliver all aspects of a project, including building, data center specific power, and all other site utilities.
- Prepare and present transaction summaries to the senior management team regarding progress, financial approvals, and overall deal costs/benefits.
- Support multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.
