Position Overview:

The SCM Buyer III will be instrumental in the development, execution, and management of our Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Training & Compliance program. This role encompasses the creation of educational content and instructional materials aimed at enhancing the competencies and compliance of the Global SCM team. The incumbent will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), internal stakeholders, and external partners to craft tailored learning strategies that align with Company Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines (PPSGs), as well as industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive SCM training methodologies that align with organizational goals and core competencies.
  • Collaborate with SCM leadership and various teams to define learning objectives and conduct thorough needs assessments.
  • Interpret and synthesize information from SMEs to support the development of learning requirements.
  • Assist in creating instructional strategies to meet specific learning goals, ensuring high levels of engagement.
  • Co-develop instructional materials with instructors, overseeing the publication of finalized curricula and supporting documents.
  • Prepare and present recommendations regarding curricula and instructional methods for training sessions.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and internal PPSGs to ensure training content remains current.
  • Compile and submit reports to management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Address inquiries related to SCM training and ensure effective communication and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or instructional design within the oil & gas sector.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Spotfire and PowerBI.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in internal consulting and coaching.
  • Knowledge of instructional design strategies, particularly the ADDIE model.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to conduct front-end analysis for the development of instructor-led and eLearning courses.
  • Experience in creating storyboards for e-Learning content.
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools, especially Articulate Storyline.
