Position Overview:
This role is essential for the development and execution of our Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Training & Compliance initiative. The SCM Training Specialist will be responsible for crafting curriculum and instructional materials that enhance the capabilities and compliance of the Global SCM team. This includes collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design tailored learning strategies that adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines (PPSGs), as well as industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement assessments to identify skill gaps and track training effectiveness.
- Support the daily operations of the SCM training program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work closely with SCM leadership and other departments to define learning objectives and conduct needs analysis.
- Interpret SME information to gather content requirements for training materials.
- Assist in creating instructional strategies that foster learner engagement.
- Collaborate with instructors to develop and publish instructional materials, including guides and media.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate them into training content.
- Prepare and submit reports to management accurately and promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Address inquiries related to SCM training and ensure effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or instructional design within the oil & gas sector.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data analytic tools such as Spotfire and PowerBI.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in internal consulting and coaching.
- Knowledge of instructional design strategies, particularly the ADDIE model.
- Understanding of adult learning principles.
- Ability to conduct front-end analysis for course development.
- Experience in creating storyboards for e-Learning.
- Proficiency in developing training materials for various learning formats.
- Familiarity with authoring tools, especially Articulate Storyline.
