Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

At Global Technical Talent, we empower individuals to take action to improve health outcomes. As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will represent the face of our company to patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established practices and procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and initials, including patient signature post-venipuncture.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements:
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Committed to all Policies & Procedures, including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
  • Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Additional Requirements:
  • Immunization status, TB test, and flu vaccine or approved exemption.
  • Release name, address, phone, DOB, and SS number to be entered into the client HR Workway system for badge access.
  • May be required to perform POCT and will require a diploma or the highest level of education.
