Job Summary

BBSI is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide guidance and support to our business-owner clients and internal teams. This role requires strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a genuine desire to deliver results.

The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic human capital management, employment law compliance, employee relations, organizational development, and workers' compensation administration to our clients. You will work closely with our internal team of experts to develop and implement best practices in human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in strategic human capital management, employment law compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Develop and implement best practices in human resources, including HR metrics and benchmarking.
  • 10+ years' experience in hands-on and strategic HR management, with a focus on multi-client/units consulting and training.
  • Networked with HR associations or related network groups, with a strong understanding of HR metrics and ability to articulate the value and ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to business owners, with a strong understanding of operations or business experience outside of HR.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, develop, and deliver successful presentations and facilitate trainings to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Roughly 80% of time spent out of the office, working with clients at their location.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus, with SPHR or PHR strongly preferred.
  • Extensive Microsoft Office experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with factors affecting starting pay including geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the Company's plan.

Paid Time Off: 40 hours of paid sick leave annually, with additional accruals based on state or regional requirements; vacation accrues up to 80 hours in the first year, up to 120 hours in years 2-4, and up to 160 hours in the fifth year; 6 paid holidays annually, 4 paid volunteer days annually.
