Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to join our team at Idaho Falls School. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our personnel and planning team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new employee onboarding, including background checks, fingerprinting, and benefit forms.
  • Monitor employee fingerprint clearance and enter clearance status into the payroll system.
  • Assist with insurance open enrollment and insurance open houses.
  • Work with outside vendors on background checks and paraprofessional assessments.
  • Provide administrative support as requested, including preparing reports and attending meetings.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This position is performed indoors and requires sitting at a desk for extended periods. Work beyond the normally scheduled hours is required, and travel to district schools and offsite meeting locations is necessary.
