Assistant/Associate Professor in Physical Therapy

The Texas Woman's University (TWU) School of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for our Dallas campus. This role is integral to our mission of providing high-quality education in physical therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering courses within the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Engaging in service activities that contribute to the School and the broader University community.
- Maintaining an active scholarly agenda to promote research and academic excellence.
- Providing guidance and support to DPT students.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Texas.
- An earned post-professional doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DSc, EdD) in physical therapy or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience as a licensed physical therapist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in neurologic or acute physical therapy and related therapeutic interventions.
- Prior teaching experience in academic or clinical settings.
- Specialization recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
