Job Title: Content Marketing Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Strategist to join our team at Insurance Services Office. As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key messages and value propositions to be communicated through content.
  • Recommend, develop, and execute strategic programs and communications to support sales, marketing, investor relations, and corporate objectives.
  • Create high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Help manage Verisk-wide tools and guidelines for Verisk tone, style, and voice across all brand content.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Verisk's industries, businesses, product lines, and value propositions, along with its competitive landscape.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop high-quality, customer-focused digital content, including persuasive copy for microsites, product pages, and landing pages.
  • Champion and follow best practices for the team based on your understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging content marketing technologies/tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment focused on the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns that have driven growth and engagement.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, copywriting, content analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
