Position Overview:
The Inventory Management Supervisor is tasked with leading inventory oversight functions at the facility while ensuring compliance with corporate inventory policies and timelines. This role requires collaboration with personnel across various departments to execute inventory management duties, focusing on enhancing service quality and reducing inventory discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Procurement.
  • Organize and oversee cycle counting processes in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Manage inventory levels, setting appropriate maximum and minimum thresholds, and handle the disposal of outdated or slow-moving stock.
  • Coordinate with distribution center teams to establish a regular inventory counting schedule.
  • Investigate and document inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Implement strategies to reduce inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory variance approval processes.
  • Participate in annual inventory audits.
  • Provide training and support for inventory-related warehouse processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on inventory management systems.
  • Guide team members on effective problem-solving and best practices in inventory management.
  • Monitor quality return transactions to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Evaluate inventory control performance using key performance indicators.
  • Report on performance metrics and propose improvement plans to management.
  • Gather feedback from internal stakeholders regarding adherence to inventory policies.
  • Contribute to operational improvements by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Engage in all required training and compliance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment standards.
  • Oversee the inventory team through recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in inventory management systems.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Certification or experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
