The Inventory Control Supervisor is tasked with upholding a high standard of inventory management, quality assurance, training, development, and productivity. This role includes delivering training to all inventory personnel and ensuring that all updates are thoroughly reviewed and documented.

This position entails.....

  • Ensuring the integrity of the facility through cycle counts and various audits.
  • Preparing and reconciling necessary daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and production reports.
  • Coordinating monthly/quarterly physical inventories and developing follow-up reporting.
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to operations, inventory management, and customer needs.
  • Conducting internal audits and additional cycle counts to validate the accuracy of the cycle count process.
  • Promoting and reinforcing the FedEx Supply Chain employee culture within the facility.
  • Ensuring the achievement of facility production and quality goals.
  • Facilitating regular safety meetings and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Training and updating team members on job functions and procedures.
  • Monitoring compliance with FedEx Supply Chain's Core Excellence Program.

You may be an ideal candidate if....

Education/Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, stock accounting, metrics monitoring, reporting, and budgeting.
  • In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or GED with 7 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Technical and analytical experience with SAP and Blue Yonder WMS is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Radio Frequency (RF) technology is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • A collaborative team player.
