Job Overview

Penske Automotive Group is seeking a highly skilled Account Payable Supervisor to join our team. As an Account Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently processing accounts payables, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter A/P vouchers, expense reports, and other receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Print documents, file accounts payable, and scan/e-mail/fax documents as necessary.
  • Assemble checks, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain vendor files in a secure and organized manner.
  • Assign general ledger accounts, correspond with vendors, and prepare manual checks according to company procedures.
  • Prepare statements, file documents, and maintain compliance with company policies and agreements.
  • Reconcile schedules, understand automobile business terminology, and follow attendance standards set by the company.
  • Attend training sessions, meetings, and uphold company policies and agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles.
  • Proficient data entry skills and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities to effectively interact with vendors and colleagues.
Working Conditions

This is a light work environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, walk, stand, or sit for long periods. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
