Job Summary

Frontier Management (OR) is seeking a highly skilled Trauma Outcomes Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our trauma quality program, you will play a critical role in promoting the delivery of optimal and efficient services across the continuum of trauma care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of trauma quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with trauma services faculty and staff to ensure continuous improvement in care of the injured patient from admission through patient disposition and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assigned trauma quality improvement activities and ensure the security of the Trauma Outcomes database.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop customized reports to inform decision-making and drive quality initiatives.
  • Utilize state and national benchmarks to determine trauma care standards and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate and lead process improvement efforts to enhance trauma care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or Critical Care Area, with a focus on trauma care.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or proof of reciprocity.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of the Trauma Outcomes and Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) within 12 months of employment.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) or Pediatric Care After Resuscitation (PCAR) certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Professional certification (CEN, CCRN, TCRN, or similar) within 1 year of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
