Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service from policy initiation to renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Oversee a portfolio of commercial clients, providing top-notch service and managing documentation within set timelines.
- Consultation & Relationship Building: Engage in consultative discussions with commercial clients, fostering strong relationships with both clients and carriers.
- Renewals & Marketing: Handle renewals, including obtaining quotes and completing renewal processes. Prepare marketing submissions for existing clients as required.
- Sales Opportunities: Identify and act on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in line with client needs.
- Diverse Role Expansion: Embrace additional responsibilities and opportunities for growth within the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in customer service or account management within the insurance industry.
- Licensing: Property/Casualty License is essential.
- Knowledge: Profound understanding of insurance products, documents, and their applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Applied/EPIC or AMS360 is an advantage.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Education: Openness to ongoing learning, with a college degree or equivalent industry designations being advantageous.
- Adaptability: Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
