About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support during surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia, and post-operative care.
  • Assist with patient exams, procedures, and record-keeping during hospitalization.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, including sterilizers and surgical packs.
  • Perform blood draws, hospitalized patient treatments, and other essential tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of veterinary experience required.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
