Job Title: Inpatient Veterinary Technician

Job Summary:

The Inpatient Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarians with exams and procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, utilizing our electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest veterinary medical advancements and techniques.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience, preferably in an emergency or specialty practice.
  • Colorado Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or ability to become registered upon hire.
