Job Summary

Washington Adventist University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Fundamentals of General, Organic and Biochemistry courses to nursing majors and non-science students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Fundamentals of General, Organic and Biochemistry lectures and associated laboratory courses.
  • Develop and implement course content using lectures, labs, demonstrations, class discussion, and other educational delivery methods.
  • Hold regular office hours to engage with students and provide support.

Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Previous college or university teaching experience is preferred.
  • Ability to integrate technology into course delivery and apply practical life applications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations.
