Job Summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at MMC, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and progress treatment plans to achieve optimal functional outcomes and address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in physical therapy.

Requirements:

  • Current PT license in the state of Maine.
  • Acute care experience required, with Trauma One experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Introductory orientation period of one year at MMC for all new hires.
