Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Customer Care Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling policies being serviced by our independent agents.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for policyholders and agencies
- Resolve challenges and obstacles to provide superior customer service
- Effectively manage tasks using proficient time management and organizational skills
- Identify and explain coverage gaps and exposures to insureds
- Underwrite and price policies, including direct correspondence with policyholders
- Analyze reports to determine profitability and pricing needs for renewal and new business opportunities
- Maintain overall quality and efficiency of work performed on the team
- Meet high demand of requests within stated service standards while maintaining accuracy
- Assist with training new associates as needed
- Experience with underwriting and/or risk selection within a carrier or agency
- Ability to analyze situations and make decisions
- Clear explanation of complex insurance issues to customers
- Learn coverage forms, company products, company appetite, and procedures
- Work autonomously with attention to detail
- Collaborate with others to get results
