Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert across a diverse sales area, collaborating with branch stakeholders and other partners.
  • Engage with cross-segment peers in Wealth Management, Consumer, and Mortgage to enhance collaborative efforts and execute the sales strategy.
  • Accountable for achieving defined scorecard metrics and key performance indicators as set by senior leadership.
  • Facilitate the development of small business expertise within the assigned branch team through joint sales initiatives, continuous training, and identifying referral opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, deepening relationships and addressing their evolving needs while ensuring their business objectives are met.
  • Introduce clients to tailored products and services that align with their requirements, driving both portfolio growth and revenue.
  • Handle credit requests up to $1 million, collaborating with senior managers on larger lending relationships.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve scorecard objectives, targeting new client acquisition and maximizing potential within the designated territory.
  • Adhere to established sales management routines and compliance protocols to ensure alignment with business banking policies.
Client Relationship Management and Collaboration:
  • Proactively oversee a portfolio of high-value clients, expanding business banking relationships by identifying needs and maximizing opportunities while ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote teamwork and enhance business banking knowledge across all assigned branches to foster a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Consumer and Wealth partners to strengthen client relationships.
  • Work closely with credit and risk teams to facilitate loan processes, including managing pipelines and addressing any escalations or quality issues.
  • Strictly follow internal control policies, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with credit protocols.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, maintaining a focus on the firm’s reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in banking, with a preference for 2-3 years in business banking.
