- Health and Safety: Ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment, complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and accounted for.
- Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including food safety and quality standards.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, operations management) an asset.
- Experience: At least three years' experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations related to food safety and quality.
