  • Develop and execute production plans to achieve departmental and plant goals for all SQDCME metrics.
  • Supervise the process and employees engaged in the manufacturing of products within assigned department and shift to meet schedule attainment goals.
  • Complete daily production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplish work results and establish priorities.
  • Achieve manufacturing results by appropriately managing labor based on work requirements and communicating clear job expectations.
  • Develop, direct, and manage production employees and train them to properly utilize all equipment and tools.
  • Coach and counsel employees while coordinating and enforcing process controls, company policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Promote a clean, safe work environment throughout the facility.
  • Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Consistently update and maintain Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) and complete required audits.
  • Lead, promote, and support continuous improvement activities, including the ECO System.
  • Coordinate and support training and onboarding for all new employees.
  • Develop hourly coordinator and employee cross-training plans and maintain skills matrices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business Management, Engineering, or Technology preferred.
  • Years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to identify OSHA compliance issues and control of hazards.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop direct reports.
  • Experience implementing lean manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kronos, ADP, SAP, and other business software/systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
