Job Title: Assistant Account Manager

Job Summary:

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to assist with the coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract at assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Account Manager with supervisory, training, and operations functions at assigned posts.
  • Coordinate the execution of security contracts at assigned locations.
  • Assign work tasks to Security Professionals and direct their work throughout the day.
  • Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals.
  • Evaluate the work performance of Security Professionals and make recommendations regarding assignments.
  • Ensure that Post Order manuals and all other post and training information are properly maintained and updated.
  • Assist the Account Manager in conducting interviews and evaluating new employees.
  • Conduct on-the-job training of new employees assigned to post.
  • Oversee all reports, logs, and pass downs generated by and for the Security Department.
  • Manage and supervise all sub-units within the Security Department.
  • Respond to minor incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Identify and forward any personnel problems occurring at posts to the Account Manager or Field Supervisor.
  • Make recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action.
  • Respond to client or site emergencies and maintain positive client/security relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three to five years of professional-level experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
  • Valid state Guard License required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and coach others.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work outside normal shift schedule as needed.
