Position Overview

SESAC Rights Management, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensing Account Representative to focus on sales initiatives. This role is essential for engaging with business owners to facilitate licensing agreements for the use of music represented by SESAC. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a drive to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with numerous business owners daily to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Provide education to business owners regarding the compensation of songwriters and their obligations under copyright regulations.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic team environment to achieve set objectives.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries about SESAC services with professionalism.
  • Identify and research potential businesses that may need licensing agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong listening skills with an emphasis on understanding client needs.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor during interactions with potential clients.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and capable of maintaining productivity with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in negotiation and motivated to reach established sales goals.
  • Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with copyright regulations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated sales experience is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is considered a plus.
