This Opportunity:
The primary responsibility of the Behavioral Health Technician, Child Crisis is to provide care to individuals and families who receive services through a Crisis Program. You will ensure safety, client rights, confidentiality, comfort, dignity, and a therapeutic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide care to individuals receiving services in a safe and respectful manner.
• Carry out crisis intervention, take vital signs, observe individuals receiving services, and maintain inventory supplies.
• Ensure an environment conducive to recovery consistent with SRMH/DD/SAS and Crisis Services philosophy and best practice.
• Respect individual rights and follow crisis plans. Work collaboratively with clients, families, and team members to create a supportive environment.
• Coordinate activities involving care, treatment, and training of individuals receiving services on the crisis unit.
• Assist with self-help skills and report any changes in physical or mental conditions to professional staff.
• Prepare written reports as necessary and utilize treatment plans developed by nursing staff and/or substance abuse specialists.
• Supervise individuals receiving services in daily living activities, encouraging independence and responsibility.
• Enforce limits using established policies, procedures, and rules. Secure information used for admission, discharge, and transfer of individuals receiving services.
• Monitor food intake during mealtime and snack time, and assist in group educational sessions under supervision.
• Attend meetings, participate in required training, and maintain certifications in agency, state, and federal requirements.

Valid Drivers License (USA)

Experience We're Looking For:
Experience working with children/adolescents with mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder

Schedule:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (7:00pm-7:00am), Week 2: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00pm-7:00am)

Target Weekly Hours:
37.5

Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
