About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Duke University Hospital. As a key member of our Navigation and Patient Assistance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our Navigation workflows for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Navigator team across all Duke Cancer Institute locations, providing standard education, training, and support.
  • Continually evaluate staffing and resource needs, partnering with disease group leaders to expand Navigation services for patient populations with high-risk needs and barriers.
  • Manage the Patient Assistance program, working with Patient Navigators and Social Workers across all Duke Cancer Institute locations to ensure alignment to Duke Health policies.
  • Coordinate planning cycles, work with Cancer Support Services Administrative Director, and other Duke Cancer Institute leaders to create and implement annual strategic goals and priorities for DCI Navigation.
  • Present to leadership as needed about the status of the DCI Navigation Program.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of related experience, preferably in patient navigation.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and administer programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to promote an atmosphere of open communication and collaboration.
  • RN License preferred.
