Psychiatry Residency Training Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced board-certified psychiatrist to lead our Residency Training Program in Psychiatry at Duke University Department of Psychiatry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the program's curriculum, ensuring the highest quality education for our residents, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for our residency program
- Lead a team of faculty members and staff to ensure the program's success
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance the field of psychiatry
- Recruit and mentor residents to achieve their full potential
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychiatry and incorporate them into the program
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD) or equivalent
- Board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Eligibility for a medical license in the state of North Carolina
- At least three years of experience in an accredited teaching/residency program
- Prior leadership experience in a graduate medical education setting
