Job Title: CAE Engineer General

We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Engineer General to join our team at Altair. As a CAE Engineer General, you will be responsible for performing SEATS CAE (static, quasi-static, dynamic, non-linear with contact, implicit and explicit studies, etc.) and developing and analyzing CAE models and correlating them with physical tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze CAE models and correlate them with physical tests.
  • Lead component and system level design proposing feasible solutions, conducting optimizations, performing robustness analysis and cascading relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Interaction with GES engineers (India) to ensure correct seat development and CAE requirements are met properly in multiple programs.
  • Report creation and presentation of results to stakeholders.
  • Develop knowledge in new CAE related technologies.
Requirements:
  • 15 years of experience in LSDYNA leading CAE team problem solving at OEM.
  • BSME degree.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent post-processing method development.
  • 10 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Seat CAE analyses.
  • OEM onsite support.
  • Test/CAE correlation.
  • Hybrid position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS degree.
  • NASTRAN optimization.
  • Finite element method.
  • Office suite efficiency.
  • Quick/self-learner.
  • Programming.
  • Other OEM supports.
  • Familiar with manufacturing process.
