Commercial Cooking Equipment Technician

Joe Warren & Sons Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Cooking Equipment Technician to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial cooking and food preparation equipment. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will provide top-notch service to clients and promote other services offered by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service commercial cooking and food preparation equipment
  • Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality
  • Consult with the parts department to identify recommended parts
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck and accurate inventory of parts and tools
  • Communicate with manufacturers to diagnose equipment issues
  • Define equipment problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
  • Promote other services offered by the company

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Passion and empathy for customers and colleagues
  • Ability to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools
  • Highly safety-conscious and able to climb stairs and ladders
  • Able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision
  • Background experience in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial equipment repair or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
