Behavioral Health Manager

Job Summary:

As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program design and implementation within the unit.
  • Monitor access indicators and responsible for utilization management.
  • Provide input into hiring decisions and have veto authority.
  • Responsible for staffing various programs, including coaching staff and providing input into performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of post-license, paid experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California).
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of state regulations with regard to ethics, treatment, patient rights and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule, working 40 hours per week. The work environment is a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare setting.
