Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Telecare Corporation is seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Cypress House, a Community Crisis Home serving individuals with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and case management to our members, helping them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader, you will provide direct care and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support and case management to members served
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Supporting members in their daily routines, including meal preparation and medication management
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Providing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of experience providing direct care and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within six months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
