As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and case management to our members, helping them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
Job Summary:Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader, you will provide direct care and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized support and case management to members served
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
- Supporting members in their daily routines, including meal preparation and medication management
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Providing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of experience providing direct care and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within six months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment
- Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
