About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Tech/Care Coordinator to join our team at Newport Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Facilitate daily residential schedules, including participating in and providing support for activities such as chores, meal service, and groups.
  • Provide transportation to clients for community outings and meetings in a safe and legal manner.
  • Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned documentation.
  • Remain current and up-to-date on all trainings and certifications required to maintain employment with Newport Healthcare.
Requirements
  • H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
  • Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
