Job Summary

The Payroll/HR Administrative Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality. This role will also involve administrative tasks related to HR functions, including benefits administration, staff onboarding, and talent acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll:
    • Prepare and process multiple payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Enter, maintain, and/or process information in the payroll system, including employee data, compensation, and benefits.
    • Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
    • Maintain all payroll information related to federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
  • Human Resources:
    • Aid in the administration of employee benefits, including new hire enrollments, annual open enrollment, and benefit terminations.
    • Assist with staff onboarding and offboarding procedures, including orientation sessions and exit procedures.
    • Support the talent acquisition process, including posting job openings and facilitating interviews.
    • Audit HR, payroll, benefit, and worker's compensation data for accuracy and identify issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Operations, or Human Resources preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience required, with 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal skills.
