Position Overview:
As a key member of the field operations team, you will play a crucial role in gathering, assessing, and coordinating the necessary information to ensure the successful execution of construction projects in line with contractual agreements. Your commitment to safety standards, adherence to schedules, and dedication to quality will be paramount.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Project Superintendent or Superintendents

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct line and grade assessments for building layout and control as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of site safety protocols as required.
  • Ensure subcontractor adherence to safety standards and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining contract documents and electronic records for field operations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR's).
  • Monitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with accepted tolerances.
  • Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
  • Assist in the development of project as-builts.
  • Safeguard and promote the interests of Turner in all related matters.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of two years of college education from an accredited program in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Experience in building construction, engineering, or a related area is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling programs is desirable.

The noise level in these environments can range from moderate to loud. Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws is required.
