Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Striveworks. This role involves overseeing, refining, and advancing our software deployments across both cloud and on-premises infrastructures. As a Senior SRE, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the effective deployment of our software products to clients, collaborating closely with platform developers to tailor and adjust our software to fulfill specific customer needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automate the deployment of virtual machines, containers, and services.
- Work in tandem with developers to architect solutions tailored to customer scenarios.
- Facilitate software deployment across various classified networks.
- Address critical system failures and incidents promptly.
In this role, you will serve as a bridge between various teams within the organization, ensuring the seamless operation of our customer solutions. You will also provide mentorship to junior SRE members and collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to deploy effective products. This position offers a competitive compensation package and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Kubernetes, Python, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in microservice deployment and Helm Chart development.
- Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance.
