Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
  • Perform general cost accounting and other related duties.
  • Review coding of all A/P and A/R entries for reconciliation and month-end billing.
  • Ownership of the AP process, delegating AP support tasks as necessary.
  • Forensic accounting and reconciliations, as necessary.
  • Provide support for complex loan deals to senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting functions, including preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
Travel:

As required; potential for overnights is < 10%
