Job Summary

As a Specialist Events, you will be part of a team responsible for the daily operations of on-mountain events. Your tasks will include setting up event sites, executing events, and tearing down and cleaning up after events. This role offers valuable work experience and the opportunity to learn efficient work practices that can be applied to future employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize operational schedules and calendars in conjunction with event schedules.
  • Communicate upcoming events to relevant stakeholders via event prospectuses.
  • Manage logistics support for all on-mountain events.
  • Coordinate ongoing communication between mountain division departments regarding on-mountain operations that may impact events.
  • Support day-of-event logistics.
  • Develop and implement safety and operations plans for all events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor or manager in mountain operations or event management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with scheduling.
  • Ability to effectively present detailed information to guests and employees.
  • Preferred ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
