About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the mental health needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the RN in delivering care and observing patient behaviors
  • Report and document any changes in patients' mood or behavior in a timely manner
  • Provide one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • At least 12 college credits, and a full college degree preferred
  • BS or BA in a behavioral health field preferred
  • One-year experience with behavioral health clients preferred
  • BLS through AHA required
  • Must be trained in PEAT and able to safely schedule and restrain an aggressively acting out patient
