About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our inpatient care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in delivering care and observing patient behaviors.
  • Report and document any changes in patient mood or behavior in a timely manner.
  • Provide one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • At least 12 college credits, and a full college degree preferred.
  • BS or BA in a behavioral health field preferred.
  • One-year experience working with behavioral health clients preferred.
  • BLS through AHA required.
  • Must be trained in PEAT and able to safely schedule and restrain an aggressively acting out patient.
