Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Sheraton Universal Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the group sales operation and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and tactics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and revenue management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and providing coaching and guidance to ensure the team is meeting its sales targets.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
  • Provide coaching and guidance to ensure the team is meeting its sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales department functions and transactions
  • Conduct hotel tours and entertain qualified potential clients
  • Local community involvement as it benefits the hotel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school
  • Two-four years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, and the public
