Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Ambassador: Provide warm and welcoming service to prospective residents, responding to their needs and preferences, and presenting our community and apartment homes in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with front desk tasks, including answering incoming calls, completing lease applications, and maintaining accurate lease file documentation.
  • Cardinal Way of Leasing: Participate in CWoL training and utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by greeting prospective clients, determining needs and preferences, and professionally presenting the community and apartment homes.
  • Lease File Management: Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork, and maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current market conditions and trends, shopping competition, and attending Cardinal trainings to provide expert knowledge to prospective residents.
  • Community Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors, and participate in and assist with planning community events.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager, participate in Cardinal U training, and be available for on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
  • Experience: Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled accredited college or university, and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
  • Availability: Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week, and available evenings and weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 40 lbs, and have a valid driver's license.
  • Culture and Values: Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal's Core Values every day.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, Leasing Consultant, Real Estate Assistant, or Leasing experience.
