About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team at inTEST EMS. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in building electrical and mechanical subassemblies and integrating them into higher-level assemblies used in Semiconductor testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Assembly: Assemble complex electrical components, including modules, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and machined parts, using electrical assembly hand tools such as crimpers, cutters, drivers, and soldering tools.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble complex mechanical components, including machined parts, commercial fasteners, and other mechanical components, using mechanical assembly tools such as hand drills, wrenches, and drivers.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet desired requirements, using electrical testing instruments such as ohmmeters, test lights, and oscilloscopes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Read and interpret BOMs, Work Instructions, Travelers, Blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices to include Engineering modifications and designs, and communicate with team members and supervisors as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Skills: Proficiency with basic hand tools, electrical test equipment, and computer hardware and software.
  • Aptitude: Manual dexterity, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and ability to follow directions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and twist/turn frequently, and to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
