ISUDT Marriage and Family Therapist Specialist

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to join our team at ISUDT. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential services to patients, including assessments, clinical interventions, and counseling. Job Responsibilities- Assessments and Clinical Interventions: Perform comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based clinical interventions, including counseling, to patients within the MFT practice limits.
- Collaboration and Care Planning: Collaborate with other professionals to contribute to care planning and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Transitional Care Planning: Assist in transitional care planning, connecting patients with community resources upon release.
- Counseling and Education: Assess and deliver intervention, education, and counseling services in marriage, couples, family, and individual contexts, with specific solution-focused therapeutic goals.
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups, to modify behaviors.
- Assessments and Documentation: Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release, review patient records, gather data, and complete necessary documentation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Make recommendations to care teams, foster effective communication, and collaborate with patients and other disciplines.
- Program Evaluation: Document and assess patient progress in programs, assisting with discharges and transfers in coordination with other rehabilitation programs.
- Valid California MFT License: Must hold a valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
- Experience: At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
- Certifications: Must have the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
