Body Fit Plus Inc is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to join our team at a correctional facility in San Luis Obispo, California.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MFT to provide clinical treatment interventions, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marriage, couples, and family systems, as well as individual biopsychosocial dimensions.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and provide clinical treatment interventions, including brief counseling, group therapy, and individual counseling.
- Consult and collaborate with other disciplines for the care and treatment of patients and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination.
- Perform assessments to determine appropriate level of intervention, education, and counseling services within the context of marriage, couples, and family systems, as well as individual biopsychosocial dimensions.
- Develop and/or contribute to treatment and care plans.
- Make recommendations to the care teams, effectively communicate, and collaborate with the patient and all disciplines involved in the care of the patients.
- Document and evaluate patients' progress with programming and facilitate discharges and transfers in coordination with other treatment and rehabilitative programs.
- Attend all case conferences, trainings, meetings, and committees as directed.
- MFT Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) – ISUDT
- Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.
- Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport (Required)
- Valid MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science (Required)
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
- Health Insurance / Quarterly Bonus
- 40hrs paid sick time
- Payroll - Weekly direct deposit
- Paid Pre-Employment Testing
