Job Overview

Position: Hybrid Associate Coordinator - Maps & Records

Contract Duration: 2 - 4 month contract with potential for extension or conversion

Role Summary:
The Associate Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Maps & Records division, assisting the Mapping Supervisor in overseeing the workflow and operational processes of GIS/Maps & Records personnel. The primary responsibility will be to collect and input mapping data into the company's GIS Applications, ensuring compliance with safety standards and achieving operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Geographic Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with 1+ year of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree coupled with a GIS certificate (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a collaborative team setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience in data analysis (Required).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (Required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve, and publish maps and records projects.
  • Maintain and update various reports, managing backlog databases daily within the GIS applications.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information to pertinent stakeholders.
  • Assist in the training, monitoring, and development of personnel within the mapping department.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the Maps & Records division.
  • Occasionally transport records and/or equipment as necessary.

Compensation: $28.00 to $29.00 per hour
