About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registrar to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a Registrar, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate registration of patients, verifying insurance coverage, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview patients to obtain necessary account information and verify insurance coverage
  • Ensure charts are completed and accurate, and process patient charts according to established productivity standards
  • Verify insurance benefits and determine pre-certification/authorization status
  • Secure all necessary signatures for treatments, release of medical information, and payment of services
  • Understand and explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of accounts

Requirements

  • 1 year of related experience preferred
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
