We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Texas Children's Pediatrics. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing direct care to patients and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver age-appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in collecting patient data, including biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information.
  • Collect and document vital signs, BMI, height/weight, and reason for visit with 100% accuracy.
  • Update documentation to include if patient has received care at any other location since last visit.
  • Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatments, examinations, and testing as directed.
  • Administer medication and immunizations as directed by the provider.
  • Provide patient education as instructed by the provider or practice protocol.

Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED, or Other Graduation from a Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or LVN Program Required.
  • BLS Cert Required.
  • 1 Year of Related Work Experience Preferred.
