Job Description

At Progressive Pain and Rehabilitation, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Assist patients with information, services, and assistance to ensure a positive experience.
  • Medical Supplies: Maintain inventory and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record Keeping: Verify patient information, record medical history, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Office Procedures: Prepare patients for examination, take vital signs, and report patient history summaries to doctors.
  • Communication: Counsel patients, transmit physician orders, and answer questions about surgery.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Supply Management: Inventory stock, place orders, and verify receipt of supplies.
  • Practice Reputation: Enhance our practice reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
