Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Elite Automotive Technician to join our team at DriveTime Family of Brands. As a key member of our reconditioning center, you'll be responsible for performing advanced automotive repairs, ensuring the highest quality of work, and meeting our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

Mechanically inspect vehicles for safety and drivability, documenting findings in our inventory management system
Collaborate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or overall quality
Perform advanced automotive repairs, including cooling, braking, charging, steering/suspension, AC, and electrical system components
Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time, minimizing re-work and delays in production
Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure the problem has been completely fixed
Work in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing the risk of injury to yourself or other team members

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required, ASE Master certification a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience in light to medium line work, with a focus on brakes, engine, steering/suspension, cooling, A/C, and electrical systems
Proficient in working with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including domestic, European, and Asian brands
Must own a comprehensive tool set
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
